Role Description
We are hiring experienced QA Testers with hands-on Workday testing experience to support enterprise implementations and enhancements across HCM, Finance, and integration modules. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in end-to-end testing, test planning, and defect management using tools like ALM and JIRA.
This role involves validating Workday configurations, integrations, and business processes while ensuring high-quality delivery across SIT, UAT, and regression cycles. Experience in Life Sciences or Pharma environments is an added advantage, especially in compliance-driven testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end QA testing for Workday HCM, Finance, and integration modules
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements
- Validate Workday configurations including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and Talent modules
- Conduct integration testing for inbound and outbound interfaces with third-party systems
- Perform data validation, security role testing, and workflow (BPF) testing
- Support SIT, UAT, regression, and release testing cycles
- Log, track, and manage defects using ALM/JIRA
- Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders to resolve issues
- Prepare test documentation including test strategy, traceability matrix, and defect reports
- Participate in release validation, impact analysis, and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of QA testing experience
- Hands-on experience in Workday testing (HCM/Finance modules)
- Experience with ALM and/or JIRA for test and defect management
- Strong knowledge of functional, integration, and regression testing
- Experience validating Workday integrations with third-party systems
- Good understanding of business process workflows and data validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Life Sciences or Pharma domain (added advantage)
- Exposure to compliance environments such as GxP/FDA (nice to have)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
