As a continuing Education Assistant, you'll report to the Principal and work closely with teachers to implement individualized education plans for students with diverse needs. Experience with techniques like ABA is essential for success in this 30-hour per week role across various school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing curriculum access for students

• Implement IEPs and positive behavior support plans

• Provide personal care including feeding and toileting

• Maintain clear communication with the supervising teacher

• Support students with various health and behavioral challenges

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary education and a post-secondary assistant program

• One year related experience with diverse student needs

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Ability to adapt strategies based on student behavior

• Knowledge of first aid and crisis intervention techniques
