What You’ll Do The industrial sales representative is responsible for achieving assigned Sales and Orders objectives for applicable Eaton products and services, focusing on key existing and target accounts in the industrial market within the British Columbia market. You will manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, contractors, and consultants, to drive sustainable sales growth.
You will be involved in creating solutions through working with the Eaton portfolio of products to solve customer challenges and will apply solutions to support ESG goals through the rapid growth of electrification and industrial initiatives in the province.
Sales Support:
You will lead sales plans and growth strategies, drive annual performance objectives, provide customer solutions for Eaton products and services, optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability. The role involves planning and attending promotional events such as trade shows and training, presenting to promote Eaton products and engineering services, preparing sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs, and communicating safety, environmental and company values.
Collaboration:
You will work as part of a dynamic team, maintain cooperative working relationships with stakeholders, and meet regional orders and sales goals.
Customer Relationships:
Build and sustain relationships with customers, channels, and internal stakeholders, develop bid strategies and sales proposals based on customer requirements, and partner with other businesses to meet sales goals.
Digital Tools:
Use pricing tools to support the pipeline and building proposals.
Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future
Valid and unrestricted driver’s licence
Preferred Requirements Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Engineering, Business or related field
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the electrical industry
Preference for a P. Eng. or CET designation
What Will Make You Successful The ideal candidate is an agile learner who enjoys a fast-paced sales environment. You must understand the importance of customers, channel strategy and pricing to deliver support to internal and external customers, be a self‑starter, and have a strong drive for results. You should have a digital mindset, experience in the Industrial Market in British Columbia, an interest in electrification, and be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
You will understand electrical systems and be able to create proposals from customer problems in the field and tenders from single lines and specifications. Strong communication, collaboration and customer service skills are essential.

Benefits and Compensation The compensation range for this full‑time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. The target total compensation range is $116,000 – $145,000 per year inclusive of the bonus. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
