What will you do?
The industrial sales representative is responsible for achieving assigned Sales and Orders objectives for applicable Eaton products and services, focusing on key existing and target accounts in the industrial market within the British Columbia market. You'll also manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance to distributors, customers, contractors, and consultants, to drive sustainable sales growth.
The candidate will gain experience in sales and be part of a progressive and collaborative team. You will be involved in creating solutions through working with the Eaton portfolio of products to solve customer’s challenges. This position will provide opportunities to apply solutions to support ESG goals through the rapid growth of electrification and industrial initiatives in the province.
Sales Support –You will enjoy leading sales plans and growth strategies and driven to achieve annual performance objectives. Every day you will provide customer solutions for Eaton products and Services to optimize sales volume, product mix, and profitability. This role involves leading planning and attending promotional events such as trade shows and training. You will also have an opportunity to lead professional presentations to promote Eaton products and Engineering Services to resolve customer’s problems.
This will involve the preparation of sales proposals and value propositions to satisfy customer needs and expectations. In addition, understanding, and being responsive to market conditions and competitive activities; while communicating Safety is key at Eaton; you will perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton's Philosophy and Values as well as Safety and Environmental standards.
Collaboration –Collaboration is a driver to success; you will enjoy being part of a dynamic team that has open and trusting daily communication working together to achieve the regional orders and sales goals. This involves maintaining co-operative and credible working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure that the organization exceeds customer’s expectations.
Customer Relationships –Building relationships with all stakeholders including customer, channel, and internally to enhance long term business growth. You will be developing bid strategies and sales proposals based on customer requirements for customers using price and delivery guidelines. You will also partner with other businesses while applying sound business decisions to meet the sales goals.
Digital Tools –Pricing tools will be utilized to support the pipeline and building proposals.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future
Valid and unrestricted drivers licence
Preferred Requirements:
Diploma or Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems Engineering, Business or related field
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in the electrical industry
Preference for a P. Eng. or CET designation
