In this role, you’ll perform a range of laboratory duties essential to patient care. Core responsibilities include specimen receipt and accessioning, accurate processing, and timely running of routine and specialized tests on laboratory analyzers, with strict adherence to established protocols and quality control measures. You’ll interpret preliminary data, verify results, and ensure precise documentation in the LIS/EHR, while maintaining instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
You’ll participate in proficiency testing, handle quality assurance activities, and uphold safety, compliance, and regulatory standards. Collaboration with pathologists, clinicians, and fellow technologists will be daily bread as you contribute to a culture of accuracy, turnaround-time reliability, and continuous improvement.
