Warehouse Team Member

General Fasteners Company located in Denton, TX is hiring a full‑time Warehouse Team Member. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products to ensure accurate and timely deliveries while maintaining a clean, organized workplace. The candidate must be detail‑oriented, able to work independently as well as in a team, and able to follow safety procedures.

2nd shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday‑Friday.

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standards.
• Load and unload delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Organize stock and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with inventory systems and handheld scanners is a plus.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Customer‑focused attitude and desire to grow with the organization.

• Work in a warehouse environment with exposure to ambient temperatures and high noise levels when operating motorized equipment.
• Require safety equipment such as safety shoes.
• Frequent bending, twisting, standing, and lifting loads between 20–50 lbs.
• Visual ability for close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
