Senior Associate – Practice Accounting

We’re recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Associate to join a busy and well-established practice environment. This role suits someone coming from practice who enjoys client interaction, mentoring juniors, and delivering high-quality work across accounts, tax, and advisory.

• Prepare accounts for audit-exempt companies and sole traders

• Review work completed by junior team members

• Prepare and file CT, VAT, PAYE, and RCT returns

• Prepare management accounts for a varied client base

• Assist on audit and advisory assignments

• Support and train junior staff

• Build strong client relationships and identify additional service opportunities

• Qualified or part-qualified ACCA / ACA, or qualified Accounting Technician

• Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a general practice environment

• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge

• Ability to manage deadlines and work on your own initiative

• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach

• Audit experience and exposure to Bright / Xero systems an advantage
