About the Role:

Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a Skilled Laborer to support a wastewater treatment plant project in Montrose, located near Delta, CO. The project consists of extensive excavation, concrete, interior piping, and equipment work. The project is scheduled to last for 2+ years.

As a Skilled Laborer at Moltz, you will:

• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor on water and heavy concrete construction projects; performs manual work in preparing surfaces for paving.
• Maintain a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
• Perform materials handling and storage.
• Provide labor support as needed for specialty crews.
• Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Bring problems to the attention of the Foreman, Safety Manager or Human Resources.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Perform good manual dexterity and multilimbed coordination.
• Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary- $24.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience
