Security Officer

Location: Denver, CO 80204 –

Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour –
Schedule: Friday to Saturday | 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Mobile Patrol Officer to provide overnight security coverage at a Denver‑area property during weekend hours. This assignment focuses on proactive patrol activities, property inspections, and maintaining a secure environment during non‑business hours. The successful candidate will spend much of the shift driving between designated patrol areas, conducting security checks, and documenting observations. This role is ideal for someone who is self‑motivated, attentive to detail, and comfortable working independently throughout the night.

• Conduct routine vehicle patrols according to established schedules
• Check exterior doors, gates, fences, parking areas, and other designated locations
• Verify that buildings and restricted areas remain properly secured
• Perform periodic perimeter inspections and note any unusual conditions

• Watch for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, vandalism, or safety concerns
• Identify maintenance issues, hazards, or property damage that require attention
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity
• Follow site‑specific procedures when responding to security‑related situations

• Prepare detailed patrol reports and daily activity logs
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and noteworthy events
• Communicate urgent concerns to supervisors, dispatch personnel, or designated contacts
• Utilize company reporting systems and mobile applications as required

• Represent Citadel Security USA in a professional manner at all times
• Follow post orders, operational guidelines, and company policies
• Demonstrate sound judgment when addressing unexpected situations
• Maintain confidentiality regarding client operations and property information

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Minimum of three years of licensed driving experience
• No significant traffic violations or serious driving offenses within the past five years
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Denver Guard Card
• Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

• Previous mobile patrol, security, or field operations experience
• Experience completing incident reports and activity documentation
• Familiarity with commercial property patrol procedures
• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain productive with minimal supervision

• Primarily vehicle-based patrol assignment
• Regular outdoor activity in varying weather conditions
• Combination of driving, walking, and property inspections
• Overnight work requiring continuous alertness and situational awareness
• Independent work environment with routine communication requirements
