Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a territory sales plan for the Northwest region. Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial, agricultural, and domestic sectors. Manage and grow existing customer accounts to maximise retention and revenue. Conduct regular face-to-face client visits. Provide product advice and tailored fuel solutions to customers. Negotiate pricing and contract terms within company guidelines. Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Maintain accurate CRM records of customer interactions and pipeline activity. Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure excellent service delivery. New customer acquisition targets Revenue and margin growth within territory Customer retention rates Activity levels (calls, visits, proposals) Territory growth performance Skills & Experience Required Proven field sales experience (preferably in fuel, oil, energy, or related B2B sectors) Strong negotiation and closing skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to build long-term customer relationships Self-motivated and target-driven Good knowledge of the Belfast market and surrounding areas Experience selling fuel, or energy products Existing network within commercial, transport, construction, or agricultural sectors CRM system experience Full UK driving licence Professional and customer-focused Resilient and results-oriented Organised with strong time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
