Caregivers – Part Time & Full Time (Des Plaines)

• Providing caring and dependable companionship
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Assisting with personal hygiene (bathing, toileting)
• Transportation to and from client appointments and activities
• Carrying out a plan of care that best supports your client
• Collaborating with the Home Helpers team and client’s family to create compassionate solutions to unique needs
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands, and transportation
• Picking up prescriptions and assisting with telehealth visits
• Meal preparation
• Providing companionship

• Hold a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
• Have a smartphone and email account
• Understand the importance of client confidentiality
• Willing to complete all necessary employment requirements
• Legally authorized to work in the US and at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs without restrictions
