Job Description
Position Summary:
Perform duties to assemble several components into electromechanical switches and panel assemblies in accordance with required quality standards. Ability to do setup work and have complex knowledge and capabilities with testing and/or soldering. Cross trained and proficient in at least 80% of the assembly operations.
- Work from product drawings, work from written and verbal instructions.
- Perform hand assembly of small parts using hand tools
- Perform trimming, lead forming, clinching, electrical testing, assembly, staking, and riveting on small presses on line process as well as off line operations. Wire stripping and etching.
- Perform individual off line assembly work as required
- Inspect assemblies and parts to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Maintain production records as required.
- Use small fixtures, soldering irons, small press, gauges, and test fixtures and hand tools
- Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others and the ability to work independently.
- Heavy lifting at times.
- Attention to detail
