Substation Senior Civil/Structural Engineer

Responsibilities- Perform design reviews of civil/structural design components for substation projects, including steel structures, concrete structures, geotechnical engineering, site design, foundations, oil spill containment, retaining walls, masonry control shelters, site design packages, and fire-walls.
- Serve as a senior engineer on client projects, overseeing work, ensuring quality control of design packages, and developing junior staff members.
- Take on a lead engineer role on client projects, coordinating work and ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Conduct site visits to client substation facilities and participate in occasional travel for client meetings and industry-related events.
- Engage in front-facing client activities as needed (e.g., lunch and learns, kick-off meetings).
- Adhere to quality control and safe work practices to maintain project scope and deliverables.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering – Required
- Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil-Structural Engineering – Preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure – Required
- Experience with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint & MATHCAD software, required
- Experience with STAAD.Pro, RISA 3D, FAD Tools, SAFE, SAG
10, and LPILE software, required - Familiarity with AutoCAD and Micro Station, required
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- Team player with ability to communicate with clients and staff
- Willingness to travel up to 25%

Pay Range: $89,700.00 - $
