Position Purpose
As Vendor Coordinator, you will respond/report to the Lead / Manager and be part of the Commissioning Department within the COMP2 Project.
Vendor Coordination & Site Execution- Coordinate vendor mobilization, call-outs, and site activities in line with commissioning schedule.
- Act as the single point of contact between vendors, Commissioning Engineers, Construction, and QA/QC teams.
- Ensure vendor presence during FAT/SAT, loop checks, functional testing, and system start‑up.
- Align vendor schedules with system/subsystem priorities and commissioning sequence.
- Liaise with engineering and procurement teams for technical clarifications and vendor deliverables tracking.
- Monitor vendor readiness including documentation, manpower, tools, and consumables.
- Verify vendor documentation such as:
- Test procedures
- Calibration certificates
- Vendor manuals and data sheets
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE, and quality standards.
- Track vendor performance vs schedule and elevate delays proactively.
- Maintain logs for:
- Vendor attendance
- Testing progress
- Outstanding punch items
- Support commissioning team in preparing daily/weekly reports.
- Support vendor‑related processes including:
- Timesheets/service reports validation
- Invoice coordination
- Budget tracking for vendor activities
- Identify and resolve:
- Technical gaps between vendor packages and site conditions
- Interface conflicts between disciplines
- Coordinate corrective actions until closure.
- Education
:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation preferred). - Experience
:- 2–7+ years’ experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects.
- Hands‑on exposure to commissioning/pre‑commissioning activities and vendor coordination during SAT/start‑up/troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with EPC workflows and handover stages (MC → Commissioning → Start‑up) and multi‑discipline coordination (E&I, Mechanical, Process).
- Languages
:
Proficient in English.
