Class A CDL Driver / Hazmat / Tanker - Liberty, MO
Clean Harbors is seeking a Class A CDL Driver / Hazmat / Tanker to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites. This role is responsible for performing driving and non‑driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean‑up. The position requires travel, on‑call service, and emergency response duties as well as a two‑week Academy training out of state, which is paid by the company.

- Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
- Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Perform manual labor on site to meet customer needs.
- Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements and regulations.
- Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and various reports.
- Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules.
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
- Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures.
- Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
- Perform site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
- Ability to use various mobile devices.
- Perform physical functions per job requirements.
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical as required.
- Meet facial hair standards per OSHA’s Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34.
- Commercial driver experience.
- Previous Hazmat experience.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Previous manual labor experience.

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this role. Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to the base salary, some roles may be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
