Yard Operative/Banksman Day Shift
Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative/Banksman to join a busy and fast‑paced site operation with one of our well established clients.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, 05 30
Pay Rate:
£12.75 per hour
Role Overview:
This is a key role within the operation, responsible for guiding inbound and outbound wagons safely around site and carrying out quality checks on incoming materials. Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely guide vehicles around site
- Conduct quality checks on inbound materials
- Maintain high standards of safety and communication
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Support smooth day‑to‑day site operations
Requirements:
- IT literate
- Comfortable working outdoors all day in varying weather conditions
- Reliable with strong attention to detail
- FLT experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Training:
Full Banksman training will be provided.
