£12.21 per hour | Weekly Pay (Every Friday) | Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting Van Drivers/Warehouse Operatives to join a busy automotive distribution centre based in Exeter (EX2). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable, long‑term work with the chance to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.

This role offers a mix of warehouse duties and multi‑drop delivery driving
, providing variety and a great balance between being on the road and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Shift 1: 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid break)
• Shift 2: 04:00 – 13:00 (1 hour unpaid break)

You may begin your shift in the warehouse and then head out on deliveries, or start with deliveries and finish with warehouse duties, depending on business needs.

• Warehouse Duties:
  • Picking and packing car parts accurately according to order sheets
  • Scanning, wrapping, and labelling items ready for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading delivery vans safely and efficiently
  • Sorting, processing, and recording any returns
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working area at all times
• Delivery Driving Duties:
  • Delivering car parts and accessories to local customers and garages
  • Handling a range of automotive components, including brake pads, discs, fluids, batteries, and other heavy items
  • Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift
  • Ensuring deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition
  • Providing friendly and professional customer service at every drop

• Full, valid UK driving licence (no more than 6 points; no DR or IN convictions)
• Previous experience in multi‑drop delivery driving or warehouse operations preferred but not essential
• Good knowledge of local routes around Exeter and surrounding areas is beneficial
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
