Position: Regional Class A Steel Hauler – Flatbed Driver– Weekends at Home

Are you an expert in flatbed operations looking for a more specialized lane? Our fleet is expanding its regional steel division. We focus on the safe and efficient transport of flat steel and steel pipe, providing our drivers with a high-revenue percentage pay model and a dependable schedule that ensures you are off the road every weekend.

Financial Outlook
  • Revenue-Based Pay: Receive 27% of the total linehaul revenue.
  • Expected Weekly Gross: $1,500 – $2,000 on average.
  • Per Diem: $300 weekly (non-taxed) to optimize your net income.
  • Additional Compensation: $40 for each tarped load, $16 hourly for detention (after hour
    2), and $50 for layovers (after 24 hours).
Operational Highlights
  • Time at Home: Home every weekend for consistent rest.
  • Modern Equipment: Operate late-model automatic Freightliner or Kenworth tractors.
  • Lane Predictability: Regional routes averaging 2,300 to 2,800 miles per week.
  • Freight Characteristics: Steel products requiring securement; tarping required on roughly half of all loads.

Candidate Profile
  • Age &

    Experience:

    At least 22 years old with a minimum of one year of flatbed experience in the last five years.
  • Load Expertise: Specific history hauling and securing flat steel or steel pipe.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Fully capable of utilizing binders, chains, straps, and tarps for freight securement.
  • Safety Record: No Clearinghouse violations and no DUI/DWI convictions within the previous five years.
  • Screening: Must successfully complete a pre-employment urine drug analysis.
