Job Description
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Service Diesel Technician to join our team. Earn up to $30.00 per hour depending on experience and six (6) pay checks a month when bonus is included. As a Service Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. You will work closely with our team of mechanics to ensure that all vehicles are running efficiently and safely.
Your expertise in diesel engines will be crucial in ensuring that our fleet is always in top condition. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a bi-weekly bonus, competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a diesel technician training program
- At least 2 years of experience as a diesel technician
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience with computer diagnostic tools
- Experience with heavy-duty diesel engines
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and vehicles
- Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure efficient and safe operation of our fleet
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques
As a Service Diesel Technician, you will use your expertise in diesel engine repair and maintenance to diagnose and repair diesel engines and vehicles. You will also use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and find solutions. Your ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics will be crucial in performing routine maintenance and repairs. Additionally, your knowledge of the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques will ensure that our fleet is always running efficiently and safely.
Finally, your experience with computer diagnostic tools and heavy-duty diesel engines will be beneficial in this role.
