Microwave Innovations is seeking an experienced RF Engineer to create new and support existing designs of RF Transmitters and Receiver systems, Power Amplifiers, and similar supporting RF systems and sub-systems for Defense and Aerospace Systems that demand high-reliability and efficiency. RF frequencies focus will range from UHF to C-Band primarily and higher frequencies as many be required. RF Engineering will range from design studies and analysis, manually and with simulations tools, component and brass-board testing, to final design creation and support, including initial PCB layout guidance and review. Position will support all product life phases including, propose, design, develop, test, production support, failure analysis, customer support, and sales as required. Candidates should be fluent in legacy analog and present day digital RF modulations techniques. Design and engineering experience in RF Power Amplifiers, Modulators, PLL, Power Splitters & Combiners, and Digital RF Techniques are highly desirable. Position requires generation and direct support of all supporting engineering documentation, while supporting staff guidance, including Parts Select, Bill of Materials, Test Plans and Reports, Engineering Review Packages, Production Test and Assembly Documentation, and, when required, direct engineering production test support. Managing of product testing both in-house and third-party as may be required. Education requirements are BSEE, MSEE, in addition to a minimum of 5 to 10 years work experience, equivalent work experience in Aerospace and Defense related programs will be considered.
