Professor of Nursing Skills Lab – Part-Time
Location:
Draper, Utah (On-Campus Only)
Joyce University is seeking a Nurse Educator to join the Nursing Skills Team on a part-time basis. If you’re an RN with a master’s degree in nursing and a desire to support hands-on learning in a collaborative, student-centered environment, this role offers a meaningful way to make an impact while maintaining flexibility.
Responsibilities- Delivering interactive, hands-on instruction in nursing skills and simulation labs
- Mentoring students with empathy, encouragement, and professional guidance
- Providing real-time feedback and assessment to promote skill development and confidence
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure high-quality learning experiences
- Contributing to curriculum enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting additional simulation or skills-based courses as needed
- Upholding the mission, vision, and values of Joyce University
- Maintaining AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provider and instructor)
- Staying current with best practices and emerging trends in nursing education and simulation
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (BSN currently enrolled in MSN may be considered)
- Unencumbered RN license in the state of Utah
Preferred:
- APRN credentials or equivalent clinical specialization
- 2–3 years of teaching, simulation, or clinical education experience
$37 - $44 Hourly Wage
