Architect / Sr. Architect, Engineering Design & Technologists
I’m currently working with a design studio in Dubai that is looking to bring in somebody to sit between the client, design team and project delivery side of the business.
This is a good opportunity for somebody who enjoys managing projects and clients but still wants to stay close to the design process.
The Dubai office is still growing, so you would be joining at a stage where you can genuinely influence how things are done locally rather than walking into a fully structured corporate environment.
You’ll have direct exposure to leadership, responsibility from day one and the chance to become a key part of the office as it continues to expand.
The role itself is very hands on. You’ll be leading projects, managing client relationships, coordinating consultants and contractors and making sure projects are running properly from briefing through to delivery.
It would suit somebody who is organised, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership of projects without needing to be heavily managed.
What you’ll be doing- Leading projects from briefing through to completion
- Managing client relationships and project communication
- Coordinating consultants, contractors and the design team
- Running meetings, programmes and reporting
- Supporting tendering, BOQs and delivery stages
- Playing a visible role in the growth of the Dubai office
- Project management and client facing experience
- Somebody comfortable running projects independently
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- UAE experience would be beneficial
An established design practice with a growing presence in Dubai. The business has a strong reputation, good leadership and a steady pipeline of work, but still offers the flexibility and visibility that comes with being part of a smaller regional team.
