Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree and teaching qualification such as a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, Masters in Education or Bachelors of Education. Our jobs are not teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a TEFL certificate alone is not sufficient teacher training.

To reflect the curriculum of choice applicants must have a background of a US curriculum and ideally supplemented by the IB diploma if you are applying for high school positions. Your first degree and teaching credentials should match the subject that you are teaching and then three years post qualifying experience is a necessary prerequisite. In addition to these basic requirements the school will look for those attributes that will reflect an ability to bridge the gap between domestic and international teaching, being able to culturally connect with an international community of students whose first language is not always English. Extra-curricular contributions and a willingness to actively engage in the wider school community are always traits that an international school seek.
