We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy IT Administrator to manage and maintain the café’s digital infrastructure. This role will oversee all IT-related systems including POS platforms, customer engagement technology, security systems, and networking. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and customer-focused, capable of troubleshooting and resolving issues in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and support all IT systems including POS, Wi‑Fi, digital displays, payment processing, and reservation platforms.
- Ensure data security, perform regular backups, and manage user access and permissions.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware (workstations, printers, scanners, routers) and software.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for IT support, equipment procurement, and system upgrades.
- Set up and maintain digital elements of customer experiences, such as AR/VR displays or interactive screens.
- Assist in developing and maintaining inventory and asset management systems.
- Train staff on basic tech troubleshooting and ensure compliance with IT policies.
- Respond quickly to technical support requests and maintain documentation of incidents and resolutions.
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
- Familiarity with POS systems, network administration, and digital signage technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software.
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices and data protection.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Flexible to work weekends or evenings if needed during events or installations.
