Job Responsibilities and Requirements
- Experience working in an Oracle RAC environment
- Experience managing Oracle Cloud OCI resources
- Experience managing Oracle Standby databases for disaster recovery in E‑Business Suite environments
- Experience with ASM and allocating space as required
- Manage database locks in a RAC environment
- Clone the test, development, and other databases as demanded
- Clone EBS applications
- Manage OS space‑related issues and clear space as required
- Experience with 19c database multitenant architecture (CDB/PDB)
- Manage multi‑node EBS applications with a DMZ environment
- Migrate code provided by the development team
- Start and stop databases and EBS applications according to business needs
- Manage Web Logic for EBS, SOA, and BI applications
- Knowledge of SQL Server databases
- Analyze performance issues in Oracle databases and EBS applications and fix them in real time
- Apply EBS ADOP patches and perform database patching processes
- Apply patches to Web Logic components, SOA, and OBIEE
- Manage an APEX instance in Autonomous Database Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (serverless)
- Extend space or add datafiles in table spaces as needed in the database
- Experience migrating databases and EBS applications
- Experience upgrading databases and EBS applications
- Apply patches quarterly when Oracle releases them for databases and EBS
