As Associate Director you will be part of the Wasserman Middle East team, leading one of our biggest accounts. You will manage day‑to‑day client relationships, sponsorship strategy discussions, activation planning and delivery, and collaborate with teams across the Middle East and the wider global organization. You will report to a Senior Director and have direct reports.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the day‑to‑day relationship with the client and manage client account.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships across the tennis industry, identifying commercial opportunities and driving partnership growth.
- Lead client strategy updates, project planning, and integrated activation planning, ensuring alignment with the broader sponsorship strategy.
- Facilitate regular project and status meetings with clients and the internal team.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and task tracking documents.
- Lead internal and external ideation sessions and creative development.
- Support relationships with internal stakeholders, rights holders, and suppliers.
- Oversee implementation of all account touch points, including general rights delivery, live event delivery, digital & social strategies, PR & Comms, and guest management.
- Participate in client in‑house meetings and provide subject‑matter expertise.
- Collaborate across other parts of the wider Wasserman business to ensure optimal client servicing.
- Provide line management of Account Team members.
• Candidate should have strong client skills and experience in the sponsorship industry.
• Passion for the sports & entertainment sector, especially tennis.
• Proven ability to develop and manage strategic relationships and commercial opportunities.
• Experience in integrated activation planning and delivery.
• Willingness to travel between UAE, KSA, and other Middle East countries as required.
