Summary
Coordinate and provide accordingly all the requirements for the projects and ensure that the materials for submissions are prepared per standard to achieve client approval.
ResponsibilitiesConsolidate and study project files and generate material list based on specification and BOQ. Coordinate internally with all parties involved in the assigned project. Determine prerequisites of the assigned project. Ensure that RFIs are disseminated to concerned persons to obtain further information clarification. Assure that materials proposed are within budget, adheres to project plan and complies with specification. Prepare internal request.
Production purchase and follow‑up the materials and arrange them according to project requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to acquire physical samples and related documents for the project, and follow‑up the request if required. Assemble sample board with proper label as per standard. Coordinate through CDC for preparation of material submittals for client approval. Maintain an updated tracking schedule of the assigned project and prepare reports for material status.
Follow up on the approval status of submitted materials. Ensure to release copies of approved samples to Production with a proper signature and clear transmittal.
Relevant Engineering Degree or Diploma or any professional background on handling material specs, samples and submission.
Experience4-5 years’ experience in fit‑out or equivalent.
Skills & Competencies- In depth knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Ability to prioritize and do multi‑tasking
- Able to complete task with minimum supervision
- Attention to detail
- Comprehensive knowledge on projects requirements (BOQ’s, specification and reports)
