Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base for land shipment services. Generate leads through networking, cold-calling, referrals, and other effective sales strategies. Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential customers, and competitor activities to drive strategic sales initiatives.
Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long‑lasting relationships with new and existing clients to foster loyalty and long‑term partnerships. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and providing timely solutions. Schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow‑ups to ensure a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
Sales Strategy and PlanningDevelop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotional activities for land shipment services. Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports to evaluate performance and forecast future sales.
Pricing and Proposal ManagementPrepare accurate and competitive pricing proposals and quotations ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Negotiate terms and close sales agreements in alignment with company policies and client needs.
Industry Knowledge and ComplianceStay up-to-date with industry regulations, transportation standards, and best practices to ensure compliance in all client transactions. Maintain knowledge of the logistics industry, especially related to land shipments, to provide valuable insights and solutions to clients. Strong understanding and experience of the logistics, Import and Export, with a focus on land‑based door‑to‑door shipment solutions.
Qualifications- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Mandatory driver’s licence.
