Overview
A new exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and passionate Territory Account Manager. You will be responsible for new business development, driving revenue through complex, multi‑go‑to‑market strategies, and exceeding sales quota.
Responsibilities- Leading new account development and/or expanding existing accounts through business‑to‑business sales of software licensing, appliances, and services.
- Collaborating with the Regional Director to develop and implement specific territory account plans and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
- Effectively engaging sales resources (SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams, and Executives) in the development and implementation of customer account plans.
- Using the CRM system to develop, manage and close forecasted opportunities.
- Managing and driving revenue through complex, multiple go‑to‑market strategies.
- Executing complex sales and managing the sales process and activities.
- Meeting or exceeding sales quota.
- Proven experience selling security software and/or network technologies (IT software sales).
- Strong relationship management and new‑business sales experience.
- Experience managing, growing and taking ownership of accounts.
- Consistent achievement against quota.
- Experience presenting to C‑level / executive contacts.
- Background working with Channel and direct business development.
- Ability to partner and engage with internal sales resources such as sales specialists and sales engineers, and to liaise with external partners at all levels.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN.
- Excellent time‑management, analytical, forecasting, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working across various vertical markets.
