We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Coordinator to support daily outbound shipping operations and ensure timely delivery of shipments to customers, agents, and stockists.
This role is responsible for preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with logistics providers, monitoring shipment progress, and ensuring compliance with shipping and customs requirements. The ideal candidate is organised, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities Shipping Documentation & Coordination- Prepare airway bills (AWB), bills of lading (BL), delivery advice, and other shipping documents for outbound shipments.
- Ensure all shipment details, including sender/recipient information, product descriptions, and shipping instructions, are accurate and complete.
- Coordinate closely with logistics service providers, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Accurately enter shipment information into the company’s shipping, ERP, or WMS systems.
- Perform data extraction, validation, and clean‑up before shipment processing.
- Maintain accurate records and reports for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Monitor shipment progress and delivery timelines to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Track and follow up on shipment discrepancies, delays, or delivery issues.
- Provide shipment updates and tracking information to customers and internal teams when required.
- Ensure all shipping activities comply with customs regulations, Free Zone requirements, and company procedures.
- Keep updated with changes in shipping and logistics regulations.
- Maintain proper filing and archiving of shipping documents and records.
- Investigate and resolve shipment-related issues such as delays, missing shipments, or customs clearance challenges.
- Handle shipment inquiries and coordinate resolutions with logistics providers and relevant stakeholders.
- High school certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with courier, freight forwarding, or logistics operations.
- Experience preparing shipping documentation such as AWB and BL.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and logistics-related systems.
- Hands‑on experience with WMS and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Free Zone operations and customs procedures is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Good communication and problem‑solving abilities.
