Shipping Executive - Fashion Retail

Import Operations

• Receive import booking details from suppliers and customers.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and provide approved agent details.
• Follow up on shipment schedules, shipping documents, and cargo status.
• Ensure timely coordination for customs clearance and delivery.

• Receive export booking requests from the sales team.
• Coordinate and ensure smooth shipment movement from the UAE to GCC countries.
• Ensure full compliance with GCC country‑specific regulations, documentation, and shipping requirements.
• Coordinate with transporters, clearing agents, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor export shipment status and provide timely updates to relevant teams.

• Verify and maintain shipping documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Certificate of Origin and customs documents.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners for smooth operations.
• Prepare and share shipment summaries and reports with the team leader and management on a weekly and monthly basis.

• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC import/export regulations and shipping requirements.
• Solid understanding of customs procedures and shipping documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and tight deadlines efficiently.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain operations within the UAE.
• Experience handling both import and export shipments.
• Preference for candidates from a fashion retail background.
