Reports to the Manager Engineering. Bring innovation to life – with your technical expertise. As a Development Engineer, you work on challenging product developments in a dynamic environment. You improve processes and designs with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. You play an active role in project execution and international customer interaction. You seamlessly switch between analyses, technical solutions, and collaboration with colleagues.
If you have experience with FEM simulations and are familiar with Six Sigma (Green Belt), you have a clear advantage. Your analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach make the difference in our technical projects.
- Work on product development and process optimization with a focus on quality, including Six Sigma methodologies
- Perform technical analyses, including FEM and other simulations, to improve performance
- Optimize designs and processes within defined quality standards
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to realize technical solutions from prototype to serial production
- Contribute to knowledge development and sharing within the team and support colleagues in projects
- Ensure efficient project execution in line with guidelines and agreements
- Contribute to the development of new knowledge leading to high-quality products
- Master’s degree in a technical field, preferably Mechanical Engineering
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or willingness to obtain it
- Experience as a Mechanical/Development Engineer
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D design software (CAE)
- Familiarity with SAP and Product Data Management (PDM) systems; experience with Jira is a plus
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Solution-oriented and proactive
- Accurate working style in line with quality standards
- Strong communication skills toward customers and colleagues
- Team player with independence and sense of ownership
