Group Finance Manager, Group Finance

This is a senior position within the Group finance function, reporting to the Group Operations Controller and will manage consolidation of a number of Group entities and the annual Group HQ budgeting process as well as holding responsibility for Group treasury and cash flow management. In addition, this individual will lead the Group Opex Management team and function.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of two single entities accounts, with appropriate commentaries, providing accurate and insightful analysis of performance in line with internal & external deadlines.
* Coordination of month-end close process with country heads of finance and other relevant teams providing the consolidated monthly results for the organization
* Provide support to all Group department heads as it relates to their opex and resolution of financial issue
* Manage internal treasury operations to ensure business cash flow is fully provisioned to enable achievement of strategic & operational objectives
* Manage Group OPEX function and a small team of financial analysts
* Review and control group payroll and headcount, including reporting thereafter
* Partner with all group stakeholders to prepare and consolidate Group Opex budget submissions including headcount planning, and other operating costs
* Provide support to ensure external audits are completed to the agreed timetable.
* Ensure internal controls and processes are being adhered to and there is continuous compliance with internal audit and local compliance legislation requirements.
* Work on projects related to process formalization, automation, expansion and improvement.
* Recommending reporting and planning controls and improvements
* Lead finance related projects and business case reviews as necessary.
* Preparation of ad-hoc presentations as they arise

Academic qualifications & experience:
* Chartered Accountancy qualification with a minimum of 5 years relevant post-qualification experience
* Experience gained in a PLC environment would be an advantage
* Technically competent with IFRS.
* Demonstrated competency in managing complex consolidations
* Skilled user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Effective communication skills, including the ability to articulate progress, issues and recommendations in a concise manner.
* Attention to detail and the ability to deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment
* Ability and desire to learn new skills
* Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate high energy/creativity, flexibility, a relentless customer-focus and an entrepreneurial spirit as well as being a team player
* English Speaker and knowledge of another European language an advantage (French or Spanish)
