Position:  Consultant in Haematology for Dublin
BHJ is requires a consutlat in haematology for Dublin

This post is part of a small team of private Consultants which has a contract to provide a
clinical and laboratory Haematology service for 2 hospitals, the largest teaching hospitals in
Ireland.
The group is managed by a highly respected Professor who holds a full time Consultant post in
one of these hospitals. He is committed to developing Consultant’s careers in Ireland and has assisted
previous post-holders to achieving permanent Consultant posts in the public hospital system.

Benefits:
- Initial contract of 1 year with a view to become PERMANENT after this first period.
- Approximate net monthly salary of 10.000€ NET after tax and pension deductions
(145.000-150.000€/Year gross salary). Clinical Indemnity scheme would be
included.
- 31 working days per Year holidays for Consultants+ public holidays (t is 9 in a
year).
- 7 study days leave per year to attend conferences or further education for
Consultants.
- Up to 3000€ for educational funding for Consultants.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Should be a Specialist in haematology inside the European Union. Will need to
get registered with the Irish Medical Council on the Specialist Registrar but we
can help you with that if not yet registered. Please take into account that the
process can take up to 3 months in total.
2. Have a very good command of written and spoken English.
3. Should have experience in Clinical Haematology (more than anything else),
Laboratory reporting and transfusion medicine.
4. Good motivation to go to Ireland to work as a doctor as from January 2019.
