Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist and lead electrical projects throughout the company.Reporting to the Manager of Electrical Engineering, this position will collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to help conceptualize, plan, construct, and complete projects on time and on budget.This position is responsible for providing a world class finished product for Operations by applying innovative and safe electrical design.

Responsibilities :

Electrical design, cost estimation, and preparation of bid documents Order, receive, and specify material Review contracts, bids, and vendor selection Provide electrical estimates, assist with design, standards and specifications Assist and oversee projects from conception to completion Coordinate electrical installation with utilities, mechanical installation, and automation groups Oversee field construction projects, electrical construction, and commission projects Communicate clearly with Operations, managers, and all levels of plant personnel Ensure all responsibilities are performed in accordance with the Companys Mission, Vision, and Values, and in compliance with the Companys policies, procedures, and Code of Ethical Business Conduct

Requirements :

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical installation or design Knowledge of three phase power, VFDs, motor controls, and PLCs Familiarity with NFPA 70 and 70E Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft products Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills Effective reporting, oral and written communication skills Strong personal commitment to safety Ability to travel 30 - 50%
