Field Safety Representative

We are hiring a Field Safety Representative to oversee the company’s Environmental Health and Safety Programs at the project level. Projects are typically located throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast regions of the United States and can vary in duration from one month to several months, with some long‑term projects lasting a year or more. Travel, lodging, and meals‑per‑diem are paid by the company.
This position requires 100% travel across the U.S. Though the position is posted for a specific city, it will most likely be a national role.

Responsibilities- Provides leadership, direction, and support in the development and execution of an effective safety culture and programs.
- Monitors safety compliance with our established Health and Safety Management System.
- Provides training and evaluation of best practices in right‑way land clearing activity (cutting, heavy equipment operation, fleet operation, etc.).
- Documents and investigates incidents, injuries, and near misses.
- Conducts new employee safety training and tailgate safety meetings.
- Ensures compliance with all company and client safety expectations.
- Provides emergency response support and guidance.
- Demonstrates ability to inspire, motivate, and lead personnel in advancing safety culture through an established Health and Safety Management System.
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in construction safety.
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Proven interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable and well‑versed with computer use.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- The office location will be determined and will require travel.
