Providing call coverage for general surgery cases. Handling admissions and managing surgical cases as needed. Credentialing Requirements Board Certification:

Yes Description/Other Details General Surgery ED call opportunity; scope (GI) experience is a plus. Schedule flexibility with additional dates to come. ATLS not mandatory but may be required based on privileges. Two General Surgeons on staff taking ED call, each required to cover 9 days, including one weekend (Friday through Sunday). Candidates with endoscopy skills are highly desired, covering endoscopy call and handling emergency procedures like stopping bleeds or clearing food bolus obstructions.
