Job Summary

Responsible for order fulfillment activities at the Market Unit Distribution Center, including all functional areas of distribution operations and warehousing such as Receiving, Put‑away, Replenishment, Customer Order Fulfillment, Dock Activity – Shipping, Inventory Cycle Counting, Sanitation and Maintenance. Daily assignments support these activities and other duties as determined by supervisory staff.

Hourly Range: $21.43/hour. 1st Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick, sort, put away, and stage customer orders according to product code, lot number, and quantity requested.
  • Inspect truck or container for temperature and cleanliness conditions and report abnormalities to management.
  • Organize the dock and prepare inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Notate and report any discrepancies or damages to the Supervisor following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Check picked orders for accuracy of lot numbers, quantities and document completion.
  • Accurately pack customer orders in compliance with order form instructions or as provided by the ERP system.
  • Pack completed orders to protect the product from loss or damage.
  • Process parcel shipments using the provided Shipstation meters.
  • Palletize metered packages for transfer to the appropriate carrier and mode of shipping (ground or air). For LTL palletized shipments, scan, palletize cases, weigh and stretch‑wrap truck orders.
  • Create, check or print Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips and accurately stage for shipping or receiving as required.
  • Confirm and compare all identifying information and count items to verify against BOL, packing lists, invoices, orders or other records.
  • Verify and file records of all receiving and shipping documentation at the time of delivery and receipt.
  • Input receipts into SAP using radio frequency scanning devices and desktop or laptop terminals.
  • Load and unload trucks as assigned.
  • Support inventory cycle counts as required by Inventory Control.
  • Observe all safety guidelines; report hazards to the Supervisor and attend required safety training.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as walkie‑riders, cherry pickers, deep reaches and sit‑down forklifts while complying with safety and industrial truck operating rules.
  • Learn and fully comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the handling, storage, and shipping of dangerous drugs and medical devices.
  • Clean, maintain, and ensure proper housekeeping to meet and exceed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
  • Perform reasonable duties as assigned by Team Lead or Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous warehouse experience not required but preferred.
  • Ability to use powered industrial trucks (PIT) including walkie‑riders, cherry pickers, deep reaches, and sit‑down forklifts.
  • Ability to learn new skills, high attention to detail and personal responsibility.
  • Basic mathematical and reading skills in English.
  • Effective problem‑solving skills, sound judgment, organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Team‑oriented work style.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
  • Computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.
