Purchasing Officer - Buyer

Bela Recruitmentis recruiting a Purchasing Officer (Buyer) to work in Dungannon, Northern Ireland. The Company A super secure, friendly and growing business. Join a team where you wont have to worry about haggling on prices with suppliers, simply monitor stock levels and re-order from suppliers to ensure appropriative levels of stock are maintained to meet customer needs. Virtually all supplier have long standing relationships with this company and they dont change very often.

Would suit anyone with previous Purchasing, Buying, Buyer, Supply Chain experience looking a better pace of life. Responsibilities Raise purchase orders for products & materials with suppliers, ensuring products get ordered at the right time to land in NI when needed. Maintain procurement database, updating and ensuring deliveries stay on track. Work with international suppliers to manage order timelines and resolve issues.

Inform internal staff and external customers on any changes to order deliveries. Spot any potential issues with orders around lead time/delivery and notify correct colleagues. Gather information from database to share with colleagues on stock levels. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing. Requirements Previous purchasing, buying or supply chain experience. High attention to details and accuracy. Experience raising purchasing orders, invoice resolution and getting quotes for orders.

Good experience using Microsoft Office including Excel. Strong administration skills, attention to detail and good basic maths skills. Great communication skills and professional attitude.
