The Equipment Operator operates machinery to produce stainless steel tubes. Operators must also ensure that the product is within the customer's specifications while following company procedures.

What You'll Do- Operate machinery to produce stainless steel tubes
- Use of computers to determine proper job sequence as well as for reporting production amounts, and time on the job
- Load/unload material from the machines while constantly monitoring operation of machinery
- Adjust production where needed according to work instructions and procedures
- In process quality checks
- Additional Report Generation Might Be Required In This Role
- Ensure proper safety protocols are being abided by
- Work closely with the Maintenance team to keep all machinery running properly
- Participate in process improvement and maintain a clean work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned, such as helping train new operators
- HS diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience as an equipment operator in a manufacturing setting is a plus
- Previous experience in stainless steel tubing industry is not mandatory, but a plus
- Excellent communication skills to allow for understanding work instructions
- Proficient in the use of measurement devices including tape measures and micrometers
