Senior Accountant
Manufacturing Company is seeking a Senior Accountant to support and enhance our accounting functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist accounts payable with sales and use tax filing
- Oversee and maintain accounts receivable
- Complete bank reconciliations and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Manage fixed assets and review/reconcile credit card transactions
- Support month‑end accounting closing activities
- Maintain documented system of accounting procedures
- Analyze financial processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Process weekly payroll
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Provide accounting solutions and collaborate with team members to share ideas, concerns, and feedback
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or foreign equivalent
- Proficiency in data entry and use of built‑in functions and formulas in Excel
- Knowledge of standard costing, profitability analysis, and understanding of direct and indirect costs
- Ability to understand and improve accounting processes at all levels
Salary: $77,000.00.
