As an Electronic Metrology Technician, you will calibrate and repair electronic test instruments in accordance with A2LA/ISO
17025 standards.
- Perform calibration and adjustments on a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical measuring and test equipment (M&TE)
- Precisely follow policies and procedures, industry standards (ISO), and manufacturers' requirements for accurate calibration of electronic M&TE
- Complete the required documentation to certify the verification and calibration of electronic M&TE
- Working knowledge/use of multifunction calibrators to include Fluke's 5500A and 5700A series
- Working knowledge/use of 8.5-digit multimeters to include Keysight's 3458A and Fluke's 8588A
- General familiarity with ISO
9001 and ISO/IEC
17025 Quality Systems - Update gage tracking software
- Good written and oral communication skills, as well as computer skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work on a team
- Availability to travel as needed
- METCAL experience a plus
- 3-5 years of Electronic Metrology experience, formal training in Metrology, or previous Precision Measurement Equipment course (PMEL) required
- Associate degree in Electronics preferred
- Basic computer skills:
Windows, Microsoft Office, and data entry - High School Diploma or GED equivalent certification required
