About the Position

We have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced (Senior) Brand Manager to make a real impact. The Brand Manager position lies within the German business in Düsseldorf. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Marketing Lead for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders, both at German and European levels.

You will be the “voice of the Consumer” within our business and own the delivery of our Annual Operating Plan through Sales.

In brief, you will be responsible for;

Building Brands with long-standing purposes, resonating in culture, instantly recognizable.

Based on Brand Foundations, participation in the new Brand Idea platform, including new visual identity and implementation on all the range, along with the Head of Marketing

Brand and Consumer Ambassador, locally and at European Level

Uncovering pain points to build branded solutions that people hire into their lives

Local innovation pipeline definition thanks to relevant insights identification with the category team, Project lead to implement innovation with multidisciplinary teams

Definition of all 6

Ps Proposition, Product, Pack, Price, Promo and Place

Support in building strong sell-in deck in context of yearly brand and innovation plans, for internal teams and clients

Earning attention through explosive ideas that leave room for self-expression

Build, recommend and implement strong media and in-store activation annual plans

Lead Media Plan definition and implementation with media agency partner

Involvement or lead in creative development of all advertising touchpoints in close relationship with Head of Marketing and your agency partners

Acting fast on decisions that are easily reversed, be thorough on decisions that aren’tBrief, follow up and action plan of consumer research to enable our plans, leading to precise action plan with Planning & Insights TeamBrand and innovation performance close follow up, action plan implementation, thanks to our retail and consumer panels tools

Budget management

Intern management with the option to expand responsibility

Qualifications

Hard Skills

Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

Bachelor or Master’s degree in business, economics or comparable fields; specialization in Brand Marketing preferred

Minimum of 4-5 years of practical experience in Brand Marketing in FMCG or Retail environment

Understanding of food & beverage industry

Strong analytical skills, knowledge of Excel, iRi, Nielsen

Very good communication and project management skills

Fluent in English, German fluency preferred
