UPS is a global leader in logistics. Our ability to adapt to an ever-changing business has strengthened our influence in all aspects. Apply now to become an integral part of UPS.
Founded on a $100 loan in 1907, 2 teenage boys opened up a messenger service in a 6 by 17 foot office located just below the sidewalk on Second Avenue and Main Street in Seattle, WA. Messengers ran errands, carried notes, hand baggage, and delivered trays of food for customers. They also delivered packages, traveling by streetcars and bicycles for longer trips, and later using motorcycles.
Today, UPS has grown into a multibillion dollar corporation that is synchronizing the world of commerce and operating in over 220 countries and territories. However, despite our growth over the years, the one common denominator that will always remain in determining our success as an organization is, OUR PEOPLE.
