Skills Needed: Our ideal candidate will have the following experience and competencies:  

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in music or music education
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar teaching role
• Must be able to teach minimum grade five (5) ABRSM Music Theory
• Teachers who can also teach piano, guitar or another musical instrument will be given preference
• Fluent English language ability both spoken and written
• Demonstrate excellent musicianship and artistry as a teacher and performer
• Demonstrate passion for and experience in teaching young beginners and adults
• Flexibility and creativity to adapt to curriculum goals and ability to work collaboratively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse community
• Ability to work during working hours as well as additional hours for planning meetings, professional development, scheduled concerts or examinations
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Intermediate I.T. skills including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS PowerPoint

• Can teach young kids and adults in all levels.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written.
• Enthusiasm for Music and Teaching.
• Preference will be given to candidates with certifications from Universities, Colleges, Conservatoires, Music Academy, Professional Music programs.
• Preference will be given to the candidate who can also teach piano at beginners level.

• Preference will be given to the candidate who can teach more than one instrument.
