Skills Needed: Requirements:  

Education: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, public administration, engineering, or another related field. A relevant first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. PRINCE2 foundation and practitioner certifications for project management are an advantage.

Work Experience: A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in logistics operations in commercial or international organizations is required. Experience in managing logistics related to large scale construction projects is required. Experience in coordinating temporary relocation of occupants during office space renovation is highly desirable. Experience in managing contracts related to logistics activities is desirable. Relevant experience in developing the project specific SOP is an asset. Experience working in the United Nations Common Systems or international organization is an advantage.


Languages: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English is required; a working knowledge of Thai is required for client and contract liaison.
