Position summary (basic purpose or primary function of job)
This part time, non-exempt position will be responsible for the support of special events and mission activities as well as general office/operations support of an assigned area in the market area, and reports to the executive director.
Job responsibilities (principal responsibilities or job duties)
Development support: provide logistical and administrative to support market level fundraising initiatives within the assigned market in an effort to achieve the event fundraising goals. Plan event logistics, recruit and support participants and teams for the walk to cure arthritis and jingle bell run/walk.
Mission support: provide logistical and administrative to mission-related activities within market in an effort to achieve the mission goals. Provide assistance for help & support, hcp, juvenile arthritis (ja) and advocacy & access mission-deliverables.
Constituent communications: manage event registration website creation and updates; submission/sending of email campaigns, post event communication including thank you notes; team and sponsor relationship management. Serves as new walk/run teams as first point of contact.
Office/administrative: office related duties (invoice submissions and tracking, reporting, data entry, etc) as assigned. Ensures that all administrative support is handled in an accurate and timely fashion (scheduling, ordering materials and supplies, submitting invoices, record keeping, reporting, etc). Serves as liaison to centralized operations and accounting and follows policies and procedures. Manage the daily preparation and submission of revenue deposits. Learns systems/software needed as needed.
Customer service: interfaces with event participants, donors, volunteers and corporations.
Data entry: serve as point person for affinity data entry of mission metrics, leadership boards, special event revenue leaders, etc.
All other duties as assigned by executive director
