Job Overview

Eagle Point School District 9 is seeking a collaborative and knowledgeable Special Services Coordinator to provide leadership and oversight for the district's special services programs. This position plays an important role in supporting students, staff, and families by helping ensure high-quality services, strong systems of support, and compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.

  • Salary Range: $104,365 – $123,355 per year, plus cell phone and travel stipend. Salary placement will be dependent upon verified full-time experience.

    Salary listed indicates current 2023‑2026 Collective Bargaining Agreement – subject to change.

Responsibilities and Expectations

The Special Education Coordinator will focus on supporting the district by overseeing the special education programs. They will serve as liaison between local, state, and federal agencies. This position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, supervising, evaluating, and assuring legal and regulatory compliance of all district special education programs and services. The Coordinator will collaborate with all K‑12 schools in EPSD
9. The ideal applicant has demonstrated knowledge and skills in developing district‑wide supports regarding special education, a desire to collaborate with other educators, students, parents, community resources, and agencies, and the ability to provide feedback based on policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a willingness to be involved in the school community in a variety of settings.

Applicants should have a current Oregon Teaching or Administrative License through the Teacher Standards & Practices Commission and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the special education field. Bilingual Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.
