Hybrid Juniper Network Engineer — BGP & Palo Alto Security

Responsibilities

• Support Juniper environment for the first six months; may transition to a network security engineer role thereafter.
• Configure Juniper networking equipment and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Modify and migrate existing network and firewall rules.
• Assist with VLAN configuration and Zabbix monitoring.
• Implement and support BGP best practices.

• Experience configuring Juniper networking and Palo Alto firewall equipment.
• Experience migrating or modifying network and firewall rules.
• Interest or experience in security.
• Familiarity with BGP best practices.
• Knowledge of Linux, Cumulus, CMMC, or ISO
  27001 is a plus.

Contract to Hire position based out of East Lansing, MI.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
