Responsibilities
- Support Juniper environment for the first six months; may transition to a network security engineer role thereafter.
- Configure Juniper networking equipment and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Modify and migrate existing network and firewall rules.
- Assist with VLAN configuration and Zabbix monitoring.
- Implement and support BGP best practices.
- Experience configuring Juniper networking and Palo Alto firewall equipment.
- Experience migrating or modifying network and firewall rules.
- Interest or experience in security.
- Familiarity with BGP best practices.
- Knowledge of Linux, Cumulus, CMMC, or ISO
27001 is a plus.
Contract to Hire position based out of East Lansing, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
