This position is a home based role that can be based in the Netherlands,Belgium or West Germany.

The Regional Sales Manager forPall Water Systems/Mobile Water Treatment Solutions is primarily responsiblefor Membrane Filtration and Reverse Osmosis sales and rentals to industrialcustomers, including chemicals, power, food & beverage, pulp and paper andgeneral industrial waste water.
This individual is responsible forsupporting and expanding coverage (direct sales) within the above marketsegment. This person will also take responsibility for specific key industryfocus in EU.
The daily activity will include managinga defined sales territory across Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany.(Antwerpen, Rotterdam Rhine Ruhr area).
Execute tactical sales plans to achieve order and revenue bookings targets;
Prospecting and cultivating customer relationships;
Sales funnel and opportunity progression;
Time and Territory management;
Forecasting and managing short and long term projects;
Identifying/developing channel partners including Danaher Water Quality partners;
Working with Pall Water application engineering (A&E’s) to propose filtration solutions;
Ability to manage all levels of the sales cycle and customer stakeholders.
Several years of experience in sales role or sales manager role in chemical industry or similar industrial environment;
Experience in water applications, water accounts, EPC´s and filtration technologies;
Bachelor´s degree preferred e.g. in Process Engineering, Water/Wastewater, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc;
Experience negotiating contracts over $250K;
Experience of working with utilities managers, integrators and OEM´s, planning offices, designers and consultants beside municipalities;
Ability to work with customers’ cross functional teams and utilize internal resources appropriately to get prospects accelerated through the buying process;
Capable of engaging from hands-on/demo level to formal presentation level with customer operators, managers and purchasers;
Ability to manage complexity – Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex issues;
Effective communicator – Ability to present ideas in a thoughtful way as well as showing the behaviors of active listening;
Mandatory language skills: Fluent English, Dutch and German. Knowledge of Spanish is a plus;
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of all our products, sales programs, services, and processes;
Proficiency in the following software: Sales Force®, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint;
Travel requirement of35%.
